Crispy Air Fryer Chicken #Wingstop
We got an air fryer so we could fry our Turkey on Thanksgiving, but the air fryer ended up just sitting in the box. So a few days after Thanksgiving, once everyone was over eating leftovers, we busted it out. And of course the first dish we had to make was wangssss! Thank you Tesfa for making it happen.
Check out the recipe below and try them tonight!
Ingredients
24 chicken wingettes (flats & drums only)
1 Tbsp kosher salt (plus more to taste)
1 Tbsp pink Himalayan sea salt
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 Tbsp lemon pepper
1/2 Tbsp aluminum free baking powder
Instructions
Rinse your wings and dry well with paper towels. Place chicken in a bowl. Add all your seasonings and gently rub the seasonings all over the wings. Set bowl aside.
Grease your air fryer rack with some avocado oil and place chicken on the rack. Make sure the wings don’t touch so they air cooks then evenly.
Place the rack inside your air fryer. Set the temperature to 400F + cooking time to 24 minutes. Press start.
Once the timer is up, check your wings to make sure they are as crispy as you like. Keep them in for intervals of 2 mins, for extra crispy.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and arrange a serving platter. Sprinkle with some parsley & lemon pepper if that’s your thing (like me!). If you want to toss in BBQ or hot sauce, let the chicken sit for 3-5 mins first, so it doesn’t get soggy. Serve immediately.
